This site is built on the belief that our wounds do not disqualify us; instead, they can become places of strength, beauty and renewal.

Betrayal shakes our foundations; our sense of worth, identity, hopes, dreams, beliefs, relationships, and even financial security. Betrayal Connections came from walking with women through that pain. Betrayals can knock you off your feet for years, I hope to help you avoid suffering for so long.

My heart is to support you through understanding and faith based encouragement as you progress through your healing journey. Putting one foot in front of the other may not always feel like enough, but it keeps you moving forward and that helps you get through each day with renewed strength and courage.

Whether you are just beginning your healing journey or seeking hope along the way, you are not alone. Restoration is possible, and your story is far from over. Your broken pits can be turned into something beautiful when you let God heal you. Greater peace, hope, joy, wisdom and strength lie ahead - don’t give up.

Like kintsugi, our broken pieces can be repaired with gold.

Meet the Founder

My empathy for helping those impacted by betrayal and sexual addiction comes from my own life journey, which I will eventually write more about. After many years of floundering on my own after betrayal in my marriage, I joined a Betrayal and Beyond group at my church in Everett, WA. That led to 15 years of walking along side other women as they found healing through this ministry. I have both seen and experienced how safe and compassionate support can lead women out of despair and into hope and healing. Men too! My husband also found help with this ministry. https://www.puredesire.org

My marriage has been a hard road, but we have been together for over 34 years now and getting healthier and happier all the time. Not all marriages survive betrayal, but if you are willing to stick it out and do hard work to grow and heal…both separately, and together…it is possible. I’m so proud of my husband, he is brave to support me in this work. He regularly tells me he is proud of me for helping women with my story. We are both still working on it and growing.

Together, we have raised three amazing daughters who are a continual source of joy. We now live in Kona, Hawaii, and plan to make up for lost time with many adventures here as we follow God’s calling.

While many of my creative endeavors are outside the topic of betrayal, I try to make sure they inspire hope, beauty, purposeful living and better understanding of God’s goodness. No matter what life throws at us, I firmly believe God has good things in store for us, and He created us for so much more than our pain. He wants to turn our ashes into something beautiful!

If you resonate with my voice here, I warmly invite you to sign up for my free newsletter for regular encouragement and updates on what I’m doing next. I remain dedicated to providing faith-based encouragement and support through my writing and online support-more to come!
