Like Kintsugi, Our broken pieces can be repaired with gold
This site is built on the belief that our wounds do not disqualify us; instead, they can become places of strength, beauty and renewal. Betrayal connections is here to help teach women heal with wisdom.
Betrayal shakes our foundations; our sense of worth, identity, hopes, dreams, beliefs, relationships, and even financial security. Betrayal Connections came from walking with women through that pain, I know that betrayals can knock you off your feet for years. My hope is to help you avoid years suffering while feeling alone and unsure of what to do next.
My heart is to help you you find clarity, and heal more deeply - sooner. You need to understand what you are experiencing so that you can move forward with greater, wisdom and hope. Putting one foot in front of the other may not always feel like enough, but each step moves you closer to healing.
Whether you are just beginning your healing journey or seeking hope along the way, you are not alone. Restoration is possible, and your story is far from over. Your “broken bits” can be turned into something beautiful when you let God heal you. Greater peace, hope, joy, wisdom and strength lie ahead - don’t give up! Your repairs can shine like gold someday and be highly valuable to you - and others.
Meet the Founder
My heart for helping those impacted by betrayal and sexual addiction comes from my own life journey. After many years of floundering in my own marriage after betrayal, I joined a Betrayal and Beyond group at my church in Everett, WA. That led to 16+ years of walking alongside other women as they found healing through that ministry.
I have both seen and experienced how safe, compassionate support can lead women out of despair and into hope—and give them the courage to heal. And that support isn't only for women. My husband and I both initially found help through Pure Desire Ministries.
Not all marriages survive betrayal. But when both people are willing to do the hard work required to grow and heal—separately and together—it is possible to build something good on the other side. My own marriage has been a hard road, but we have now been together for more than 35 years. We've raised three amazing daughters who are a continual source of joy, and we're looking forward to good things ahead, together.
I'm especially grateful for how bravely my husband supports me in this work. He regularly tells me he's proud of me for using our story to help other women—and that doing so actually helps squash his shame and move us both toward greater freedom. As we've watched God use our story to help others, we've both experienced something beautiful: the hardest parts of our past can be redeemed.
While many of my creative endeavors are outside the topic of betrayal, I try to make sure they inspire hope, beauty, purposeful living, and a better understanding of God's goodness. No matter what life throws at us, I firmly believe God has good things in store for each of us. He created us for so much more than our pain—and He can turn our ashes into something beautiful.
