Like Kintsugi, Our broken pieces can be repaired with gold
This site is built on the belief that our wounds do not disqualify us; instead, they can become places of strength, beauty and renewal. Betrayal connections is here to help teach women heal with wisdom.
Betrayal shakes our foundations; our sense of worth, identity, hopes, dreams, beliefs, relationships, and even financial security. Betrayal Connections came from walking with women through that pain, I know that betrayals can knock you off your feet for years. My hope is to help you avoid years suffering while feeling alone and unsure of what to do next.
My heart is to help you you find clarity, and heal more deeply - sooner. You need to understand what you are experiencing so that you can move forward with greater, wisdom and hope. Putting one foot in front of the other may not always feel like enough, but each step moves you closer to healing.
Whether you are just beginning your healing journey or seeking hope along the way, you are not alone. Restoration is possible, and your story is far from over. Your “broken bits” can be turned into something beautiful when you let God heal you. Greater peace, hope, joy, wisdom and strength lie ahead - don’t give up! Your repairs can shine like gold someday and be highly valuable to you - and others.
Meet the Founder
My empathy for helping those impacted by betrayal and sexual addiction comes from my own life journey. After many years of floundering on my own after betrayal in my marriage, I joined a Betrayal and Beyond group at my church in Everett, WA. That led to 15 years of walking alongside other women as they found healing through this ministry. I have both seen and experienced how safe and compassionate support can lead women out of despair and into hope and healing. Men too! My husband and I both found help initially with this ministry. https://www.puredesire.org
My marriage has been a hard road, but we have now been together for over 34 years and still working on getting healthier all the time. Not all marriages survive betrayal, but if you are willing to stick it out and do hard work to grow and heal…both separately, and together…it is possible. I’m so proud of my husband, he is brave to support me in this work. He regularly tells me he is proud of me for helping women with my story, it squashes his shame and moves us both toward more freedom! We both feel that as we see God help others through our story, our mistakes and pain, it redeems the past. It is a part of God turning our ashes into beauty.
Together, we have raised three amazing daughters who are a continual source of joy. We now live in Kona, Hawaii, and plan to make up for lost time with many adventures here as we follow God’s calling.
While many of my creative endeavors are outside the topic of betrayal, I try to make sure they inspire hope, beauty, purposeful living and better understanding of God’s goodness. No matter what life throws at us, I firmly believe God has good things in store for us, and He created us for so much more than our pain. He wants to turn our ashes into something beautiful!
If you want advice on with pressure, if you seek wisdom instead of absolutes, if resonate with my voice here; I warmly invite you to sign up for one of my newsletters that will bring regular encouragement to you directly and will update you first on what I’m doing next.
